(1) A request received from a foreign state in accordance with sub-section (2) of section 40 of the Ordinance in English language and the document or document attached thereto or a request for mutual legal assistance on behalf of Nepal in a foreign country, The translation of the attached document or document will be done by the central authority.
(2) For the purpose of translation as per sub-rule (1), the central authority shall prepare a roster of translators of different languages ​​and update such roster for each financial year.
(3) The central authority shall translate the request letter, documents or documents attached to it as per sub-rule (1) subject to the prevailing law on public procurement. However, under special circumstances or when a person with knowledge of a particular language is not on the roster, it will not be a hindrance to have a translation done by a person who is not on the roster.
